Why is UV testing so important?
Sealants, especially those used outdoors or in environments exposed to sunlight or artificial UV light, are prone to degradation over time. UV rays can cause the sealants to break down, become brittle, discolour, or lose their bonding strength.
Using our QUV Accelerated Weathering Chamber we can test adhesives and sealants to these extremes to ensure products are reliable, durable and compliant with industry standards, even in the harshest conditions.
